OpenToolkit Privacy Policy
OpenToolkit provides document, PDF, image, finance and developer tools. Most tools are designed to process your work locally on your device.
Information we collect
You can use most OpenToolkit tools without an account. Files, images, text and calculations you open in those tools are processed on your device and are not uploaded to OpenToolkit servers unless a feature clearly tells you otherwise before you use it.
Google sign-in and account data
If you choose to sign in with Google, OpenToolkit receives the basic account information authorized by you, such as your Google account identifier, name, email address and profile image. OpenToolkit uses this information only to authenticate you, display your profile and provide account features such as saved favorites and authorized administrative access.
Authentication and account storage are provided through Supabase. OpenToolkit does not receive your Google password, sell Google user data, use it for advertising or use it to train artificial-intelligence models. It is not disclosed to third parties except service providers needed to operate authentication and account features, or when required by law.
Camera access
The Document Scanner asks for camera permission only when you choose to scan a document. Captured images are processed locally. You can revoke camera access at any time in Android settings.
Files and sharing
When you save or share a result, Android's system file and sharing controls handle the destination you select. OpenToolkit does not receive a copy of that content.
Local preferences
OpenToolkit may store limited preferences, such as light or dark theme, on your device. These preferences are not used to identify you.
Third-party services
OpenToolkit uses Google for optional sign-in and Supabase for authentication and account data. The current app does not use account information for targeted advertising. Third-party services process data under their respective terms and privacy policies.
Children's privacy
OpenToolkit is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed specifically to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security and retention
Tool content that remains on your device is not retained by OpenToolkit. You control files saved on your device and can delete them using the device's file manager. Account data is protected using the security controls provided by OpenToolkit's authentication and hosting providers and is retained while needed to provide account features, comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be published on this page. Privacy or support questions can be sent through OpenToolkit's Contact Us page or the developer contact shown on OpenToolkit's Google Play listing.
