URL Cleaner
Remove common advertising and analytics tracking parameters from links.
How to remove tracking parameters from a URL
- Paste your URL. Add a complete URL, including
https://, into the first box. - Review the result. The cleaned URL appears automatically below it.
- Copy it. Select "Copy clean URL."
What happens to your link
The URL is parsed with your browser's built-in URL API and cleaned instantly in the current tab — it's never sent to a server or logged by OpenToolkit.

Frequently asked questions
Is my URL uploaded or logged anywhere?
No. It's parsed and cleaned by your browser's URL API in the current tab; nothing is sent to OpenToolkit.
Which parameters does it remove?
UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, and so on) plus common ad and analytics IDs — fbclid, gclid, dclid, msclkid, mc_cid, mc_eid, igshid, and any ref_-prefixed key.
Will it change where the link goes?
No — only tracking query parameters are removed. The path, host and any other query values stay exactly the same, so the link still opens the same page.
Why isn't a cleaned URL showing up?
A result only appears once the input is a complete, valid URL, including the scheme (e.g. https://).
Does it remove all query parameters?
No — only ones matching known tracking patterns. Any parameters your link actually needs are kept.
Can I clean several URLs at once?
Not currently — paste and clean one URL at a time.
