OpenToolkit

Free online image editor

Edit images with layers, brushes, shapes, filters and local export.

Preparing the editor…

How to use the image editor

  1. Open an image. Drag and drop one, paste it with Ctrl+V, or start from a blank canvas.
  2. Edit it. Use the left toolbar for drawing tools, and the panel rail beside it — Resize, Layers, Colors, Text, Shapes, Stickers, Adjust, Zoom — for the matching options.
  3. Export. Save as PNG, JPEG, WebP or PDF, or batch-process several files at once.

What happens to your image

PixelPad is loaded directly into this page and does everything — opening, editing and exporting an image — with your browser's Canvas API. Nothing is uploaded to OpenToolkit unless you separately choose to share or upload your exported file elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens in this page using canvas rendering; nothing goes to a server unless you export it and upload that file somewhere else yourself.

Do I need an account?

No — there's no login required to use the editor.

Can I undo a mistake?

Yes — Ctrl+Z restores both pixel edits and a text box's editable state.

Can I edit several images at once?

Yes — use the batch-processing option to apply changes and export a ZIP of multiple files.

What formats can I export to?

PNG, JPEG or WebP for images, and PDF in RGB or CMYK for print.

Is my work saved if I close the tab?

No — there's no autosave to a server, so export or download your work before closing the tab.
